Smart Sofa Station Kit by Arabesque Scissors

Make your very own Smart Sofa Station to keep all of your handwork bits and pieces safe and organised while you sew on the couch! This wonderful pattern is written by Ali of Arabesque Scissors and comes with thorough instructions and diagrams, as well as free accompanying video tutorials on Youtube to guide you through each process!

The kit includes everything you need per the material requirements to make a piece like our sample:

• (1) Smart Sofa Station by Arabesque Scissors paper pattern
• (3) 1/3 yard cuts of fabric
• (3) fat 8ths for pockets and add-ons (note more scraps may be required from your stash if you would like more variation or if more pockets/add-ons are added than our sample) 
• (1) fat quarter for binding
• quilt batting scraps
• Legacy 987F fusible fleece
• Shape to Create woven interfacing (in place of SF101)
• Pellon Craft Fuse 808
• Legacy Fuse Under 805 (fusible web)
• (1) covered button for needle minder
• (3) neodymium magnets
• (1) small piece of felt

Note: this kit contains neodymium magnets. These are not toys. Children should not be allowed to handle these magnets as they can pose a choking hazard. Ensure magnets are secured into the Smart Sofa Station in line with the pattern instructions. Avoid placing neodymium magnets near electronic appliances, including the computerised part of sewing machines. The strong magnetic fields of neodymium magnets can damage computers, televisions etc. The strong magnetic fields near a neodymium manget can affect pacemakers, ICDs and other implanted medical devices. Many of these devices are made with a feature that deactivates it with a magnetic field. Therefore, care must be taken to avoid inadvertently deactivating such devices.
